ModeratorYou need to be more specific…
* Does the act of trying to display the shortcode render the error?
* Or when the member clicks on it?
* Or…?And what exactly is the error message?
And are there any debug log messages?
And did you or your hosting provider recently change or upgrade anything?
Did you also go through this checklist:

ModeratorAfter you cleared the debug files, and try to create a subscription; does anything appear in the debug file?

ModeratorThe ID number is returned by MySQL when a new table row is created. “Zero” means there are no rows in the table (yet).

ModeratorAre you using any page caching plugins?

ModeratorWhen a member registers with the form, they are given the ID 0. WordPress no longer recognizes them as a user.
You are mixing up terminology. WordPress creates Users and SWPM creates Members. So, are you having problems creating WordPress Users or SWPM Members?
In either case, the ID numbers are generated by your MySQL database server, and are not under control of either WordPress or SWPM. Did you or your hosting provider recently make any changes to the hosting environment???

ModeratorAnd you don’t have any extraneous “stuff” in the activation email template?

Moderatori have (in test mode) active two recurring subscriptions.
What exactly do you mean by “test mode?” Any kind of sandbox modes are not supported; other than to verify communication between the payment gateway and the plugin.
Please turn on the debug logs. We can’t help you, if there are no debug messages.

ModeratorI went ahead and changed to LIVE and used my card to test the flow. Oddly, that works fine.
Any form of “Sandbox mode,” through any of the payment gateways is not intended to be a “simulation” of a normal production site.

Moderator1. Sometimes when a user logs in, the platform does not recognize them and kicks them out again. They log in correctly but when they come to viewing the content it’s as if they had not logged in.
Are you using any kind of page caching addon?
2. When logged in how can I take the user to the main membership page? Instead, it remains on an intermediate screen with the account information.

ModeratorSWPM only protects WordPress pages; not actual files. You can of course, place a link to the desired file, onto a WordPress page that is protected by SWPM.
