After a test account completes the stripe payment they are returned to the website and get an error message:

    [2024/03/18 05:23:30] – FAILURE: Fatal error! Payment with ref_id swpm_ddec1b999f8bf182bc4bdd38528a5ec5|1006 can’t be found

This is found in the debug as shown. If the user refreshes the page it will complete and the user will be assigned the correct membership level. BUT if the user navigates to a DIFFERENT URL, they will not be assigned the correct membership level.

I double checked the api keys, the webhooks, and everything appears to be correct. Any clues? I’m going to test if it’s some kind of plugin conflict. I swear this was working in past testing so I’m not sure what happened.

I went ahead and changed to LIVE and used my card to test the flow. Oddly, that works fine. So not sure what the issue is. Would be curious to know if the devs have seen this kind of error before. Cheers!

I’m encountering the same situation, and I wonder if this issue can be resolved. I’ve only been able to test it in a testing environment, but sometimes this error occurs, and other times it doesn’t.

Any form of “Sandbox mode,” through any of the payment gateways is not intended to be a “simulation” of a normal production site.
