ModeratorHowever, when I try to go to other pages in the member site from the top page, I am asked to log in again. How can this be resolved?
You might be using a page caching plugin that is not properly configured or is not compatible with SWPM:

ModeratorSince you marked this as “resolved,” I assume you discovered the email template.

ModeratorHave you configured After Login Redirection for Members?

ModeratorEach SWPM “member” must have their own unique email address. The reason not only has to do with SWPM, but the way many payment providers (PayPal, Stripe, etc.) operate.
If families have Gmail accounts; they can use Gmail aliases, like this:
1. SmithFamily@gmail.com
2. SmithFamily+Dad@gmail.com
3. SmithFamily+Son@Gmail.com
4. SmithFamily+Daughter@gmail.com
Email sent to each of the accounts, gets placed in the main SmithFamily@gmail.com inbox. But to SWPM, PayPal, Stripe, Etc., they look like unique email addresses.September 11, 2024 at 2:07 am in reply to: Is there a way to show a member their transactions? #28809The Assurer
ModeratorThe short answer is “no.” The member receives any transaction details directly from whichever payment gateway is used with WooCommerce.
Perhaps you are really wanting the members to know what the status of their membership is???

ModeratorDoes this meet your needs?
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/member-registration-via-an-invitation-code-or-password/You can also require new memberships to be manually approved.

ModeratorI think you are trying to do too much at once.
Are you using the latest version of SWPM that is available on our website?
https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/simple-membership.zipI also do not understand what Ruby on Rails has to do with SWPM. Please start out with a simple WP site & theme, add SWPM, and then when you are comfortable with how it works; begin building your site. Also please pay attention to the advice on resolving plugin and theme conflicts:
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/forums/topic/test-for-plugin-and-theme-conflict-before-posting-an-issue-or-a-bug/
One final bit of advice, is to turn on the swpm debug log.

ModeratorSWPM does not support content dripping. If this is a feature you absolutely must have, you can consider this more advanced WP eMember plugin:

ModeratorI have an old version of simple membership running on my backup site with version 4.4.8, the problem does not occur here.
Have you downloaded the latest version, from the website?
https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/simple-membership.zipThe problem only occurs with the Google Chrome browser, not with Firefox (tested both myself)
Have you tried using another computer? And are you the only person experiencing this issue?

ModeratorPlease turn on the SWPM debug logs. Without the debug logs recording what’s going on; any attempt to assist you would be “guessing.”
Also, please review a similar support thread that was resolved, in which the issue was in the Stripe account setup:

ModeratorBy any chance, did you have the debug logs turned on? Without the debug logs, we can only guess.

Also, since it has been a year since you activated the plugin; please ensure that you have downloaded and reinstalled the most current version of SWPM.

ModeratorPlease try downloading and reinstalling the latest version of SWPM.
https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/simple-membership.zipAlso, are you using a commercial hosting provider, or are you self-hosting?

ModeratorI don’t suppose there’s a video tutorial on this anywhere? Or if you guys could do this for me as a paid project? Thanks.
I shall inquire with the developer.
