I have created a NEW button to make a new test. The Problem Persists, the user profile has an empty Subscription ID field.This is what I received:

I hope this can help.
In this moment, considering the situation… I could suppose that there is a problem in the plugin or in the use that the plugin makes of paypal api. MAYBE.
Anyway, I can take the Subscriptions ID from the confirmation email that paypal send and I add it manually to the user profile. FOR THE MOMENT.
But please, let me know. This is not a problem that I can fix by myself alone.

ParticipantI can’t do it for now by the real paypal account. I have only 1 paypal account.
I have to wait tomorrow to ask to someone to pay.
The first thing that I have in mind is that maybe the buttons used have some “strange problems”, because the buttons used to test the service have worked very well.
I can try to delete the buttons and create new ones to see if the situation happens also with the new buttons.
I have a question:

ParticipantI have found something new.
Every new user who paid and registered has NO Subscription-ID registered in their profile.
Instead the old account that a friend of mine opened and used to make a test has a subscription-ID in his profile.
I have not idea what is not working.

Participantthis is what the admin answered to my post 3 weeks ago about what happens when the subscription is canceled by the user.
Now instead I see that the new release of the plugin worked in a different way and it worked in a way different of the many test that I made before to launch my service.

it is just in the log.But I want to understand why the user canceling the subscription, instead to be turned to inactive (as happened in past) now it has a different behavior. I mean the user is active (and this is ok). But instead in the past when a user canceled the subscription the plugin turned his status automatically to inactive.
What has changed?
I know only that I have installed the new release of the plugin. No other thing has changed.
And if there is something wrong, I need to know.
I started a service for people, I “must” have clear what is happening.

Participantit is the same thing that I know and it is what I expected.
But anyway, i will check with paypal too.Anyway, looking how to make a button in the paypal website, I have seen that paypal lets set a language for its buttons.

it is an example to clarify.The problem is that a user pays for a subscription and register the account (or he has already an account or change his subscription).
The subscription are recurring payments, for example with cycle of 1 month or 3 months or 1 year.
IF the user cancel the subscription from his paypal account before the expiration date, his account becomes “Inactive” Automatically.
Then, for example … if I payed for 3 months and I stop the recurring payment after the first months, the user finds his account inactive also if he has paid for 3 months. Then he cannot use the last 2 months of the services that he has paid.

I meant that for the moment i managed the problem using this plugin:

but it is not a solution. it’s necessary that simple membership plugin manage the situation by itself.

Participantyes. there only 1 user in my website that make payments.
that user started the new subscription.
That failure happens because later, after the starting of the new subscription and then the new recurring payment, the same user stopped on paypal the recurring payment for the subscription that he had before.

ma ovviamente questa non è una soluzione, ma una cosa temporanea, in attesa che Simply Membership Plugin introduca un qualcosa per festire le restrictions anche per le pagine di Buddy Press.

ParticipantHi. the problem happens also with the theme Twenty Fifteen. it is related only with the feature “More Tag”. If I don’t apply the More Tag, things work properly inside the comment box.

ParticipantThe problem comes when users make lists with the name that has several words + spaces.
Then add the list name in the member level can induce in typing mistakes that can cause a long time to understand that the problem is just the Name of the list, considering that there is no check from the plugin to mailchimp about the validity of the List name inserted in the relative text field of the plugin.

the user administrator add a new user and nothing more.The log reports only that the plugin has sent an email to confirm the registration to the user and another row for the sending of the notification email to the admin about the registration of the new user.
I make nothing more. I don’t add the user to the Mailchip List by myself if the plugin doesn’t make it by itself.

ParticipantNo! … I am saying that IF the user make the subscription, then pay, and make the registration, the plugin send the user data to MailChimp.
If the administration, add a member by himself to any member level available, the plugin send only the confirmation email for the registration of the new user and the notification email to the admin (feature enabled) and it don’t send the user data to MailChimp.
