it is not a good way.

One subscription is a recurring payment. The other one (the Course) is a one time payment.

The plugin doesn’t help to make a third level able to manage the situation without create complicated things for the user.

Another problem is that the solution proposed is not good commercially, no good for business.
I can have a user that is already a subscriber and that has paid ( a lot ) to read the contents that are published continually.

So, There is no sense to ask him to pay again what it has already paid + the extra money for the adding of the new service. This will cause a collapse of the sells and a lot of problems to manage the refund to the users in compensation of the money that they has >newly< paid changing the subscription to include the second service. it’s definitely not good.

Another problem is that to merges a subscription plan where there is recurring payment with another one that has a 1 time payment, the plugin should give a possibility to set a recurring payment where at least the first payment should be higher of the other payments that will be done later.

The plug in offers only trial cycles free at the beginning and the other cycles with a fixed price.

I can make possible the access to the different contents by different user roles, using specific plugin for it. But the problem about how to make the payment is still there.

What can I do?

“This fixing will it be implemented inside the plugin functions in the future releases?”

It should not be a fixing to add in the functions.php file. It should be a field in the code that generate the button.

I appreciate your great work. This feature solved a BIG PROBLEM.

it seems that everything worked properly.
The payment is done and the user is created.

In the log there is failure with mailchimp but it happens because the user was already in the list. then this is not a problems.

There is also this

But I suppose that this was reported because the user created was a new user, then the email was not present.

In the first test that I made the button works but the plugin doesn’t track the payment.

In this moment for me is important to understand way using a PayPal Button, I don’t see the tracking of payment transition in the plugin payments report page.

Also if the user is properly created by the paypal transition and the registration process.

I need to understand if there is something wrong.

Maybe do I need to enable the Paypal Data Transfer on paypal?

Hi,
I know that create the button inside the plugin is the best way.

But as I told in another forum discussion there is a BIG PROBLEM with this: it is not possible to set the language. When I click the button, the paypal page opened is not in English and there is no way to change this using the Button Created inside the Plugin.

People from Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, UK … reported to me that the page is published in Italian (my first language), also if English is the default language in my paypal profile.

This is a BIG PROBLEM.

I asked you a fixing for this problem as a Feature for the PLugin.

Create a button via Paypal doesn’t show this problem, because it is possible to set the language.

Please, fix this problem. It is important. I am not happy to use buttons created via PayPal. I want to use the Plugin Buttons.

Hi,
I contacted Paypal for this thing and I verified it just today with users in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

They see the page in my country language (Italian), although my Paypal profile Language is set in English.

This is a Problem of course.

I would avoid to create buttons manually using the paypal interface, where I can set the International Language.

I prefer that the plugin could give the opportunity to set the Language for the Payment, just like Paypal makes me set it when I create a button with its interface.

If you can add this feature very soon, I will not create new buttons via Paypal.
If this is not possible I am sadly “forced” to start new tests using the Paypal buttons and not the buttons of the plugin.

Please help. This is an important feature.

I stopped to cache the pages for the login and registration and password reset.

Let see what will happen. I have received an email from a user who told that he was not able to make the login, but he didn’t give me a description of the problem.

Anyway, at the end he logged in.

It’s a good news know that WordPress will integrate an authentication process 🙂

Hi.
there is a caching plugin – WordPress SuperCache – but this never gave problems with the subscriptions and with the logins.

Yesterday I deleted the cache more times, but the problem persisted. But in any case, now I think to keep that specific page not cached.

The strange thing is just that it showed the details of a specific user publicly. In my computer I never logged in with that user, considering also that I cannot see his password.

The log reports nothing. It has no details about that situation.

I am thinking to add a service for the double authentication, something like Google Authentication. But of course these services cannot be added using the the shortcode of the membership plugin. What do you suggest for this?

I don’t know what’s wrong. But now it works.

I logged in using the wordpress login page .. and later I logged out.

I checked the membership login page… and the form was visible, it was empty.

I have not idea what was this problem.

I know that I used Chrome “Incognito” and I tried to make the login using also Firefox.

In both case I had the same problem. Instead to see the form the logged in user details were visible in the page. always the details of the same user.

Considering that the problem was the same on 2 different browsers and with the Incognito Chrome Browser, I have thought that the problem was visible to any subscriber.

Do you have an explanation for this problem?

Question: there is way to add a double authentication for the login process?

In the logs I see always something like this:

it says that he has problems to use the email address. When the user is created (before that the registration is completed) I see the user has the email address (from paypal), but it doesn’t have the Subscription ID visible in the log as unique reference.

I hope this can help to fix the problem.
