KeymasterThis will be a caching related issue on the site so I’m including the following documentation link for your reference:

KeymasterHi, Please Review and Complete the Following Steps:
#1) Are you using Simple Membership plugin version 4.5.4? Go to the plugins menu in your admin dashboard and ensure the plugin is using the latest version (at the moment it should be v4.5.4).
#2) Go to the following settings interface within our plugin:
Payments -> Payment Settings -> PayPal WebhooksUse the ‘Delete Webhook’ button to delete the webhooks. Then recreate the webhooks again.
Does it show a green tick mark indicating webhooks have been created?
#3) Next, with the debug option enabled, do another subscription checkout test. Reset the log file just before doing the subscription checkout so it contains only the log for the transaction. Does the new checkout shows correctly in the cancel shortcode?
#4) If the new checkout doesn’t work as expected, share the debug log file’s content of the transaction.

KeymasterYes, you can upgrade the Stripe API version that you showed in the screenshots.
It is good to keep a backup of your site just before you upgrade.

KeymasterIf you are using the Form Builder addon, please refer to the relevant section on the following page for specific instructions:

KeymasterIt’s most likely a caching issue. So it is worth deleting all cache everywhere (the browser’s cache, any caching from your site).
The following page explains why caching can be an issue sometimes:

August 17, 2024 at 11:56 pm in reply to: How can I set only 2 or 3 Stripe SCA subscription payments? #28689admin
KeymasterHi, Stripe currently doesn’t support the specific subscription pricing option you’re asking for in our integration.
A potential alternative is to set up a standard one-time payment and enable the ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ feature in your Stripe dashboard. This allows eligible users to split their payment into four smaller installments, which might serve as a workaround.

KeymasterIf you are referring to the error message that pops up in a red bubble, you are most likely using the legacy registration form option. Try using the new registration form UI and validation option in our plugin which is better for all devices.
Below are the steps to enable this option:
1) Go to the settings menu of the plugin.
2) Go to the Advanced Settings tab.
3) Check the ‘Activate New Form and Validation Interface’ checkbox.
4) Save the settings. On a fresh installation of the plugin, this feature is enabled by default. However, if you were using the plugin previously, you’ll need to manually enable it in the settings.
Let us know if that works better.

KeymasterHi, This will be related to a conflict (as mentioned by @gwennadf) or a caching issue. I will point to the following resources which can be helpful to identify the source:

KeymasterThank you. Adding a link to our documentation for this:

KeymasterWe have added a new parameter for ‘account_status’ in the partial protection shortcode. It can be used to protect content based on the member’s account status.

KeymasterYou can try the following manual approval option which might be close to what you are after (it allows the site admin to manually activate an account after the user submits the registration form):
