ModeratorDo we have to block from clearing the cache to all pages of different languages as well? or just the main page where the language plugin gets all the content from?
Rule of thumb… if you have to “do it” for an English page, then you must “do it” for the others.

ModeratorWhen I click any of the “Subscribe Now” buttons on the page, I go directly to a “Pay With PayPal” page and do not receive an error.
I am using the latest version of Chrome, Version 125.0.6422.142 (Official Build) (64-bit).

ModeratorThe member login page is still taking over the entire site. Please help if possible.
What exactly do you mean by that? Are you logged in as an SWPM member?

ModeratorIf you are using Buy Now or SUBSCRIBE buttons, there is no opportunity to pass any information to Stripe.
Are you trying to use the “Accept Stripe Payments” Plugin?

ModeratorDo you have any SWPM debug logs to show? Also, do you have a live URL and directions of how we can observe this issue?

ModeratorGiven that PHP 8.1 was released on November 25, 2021; any incompatibilities would have been discovered by now, since SWPM is regularly updated.
Please ensure that you are running the most current and vetted version of SWPM, by downloading it directly from our site:
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/Also, please perform the following compatibility checklist:

ModeratorThe password is randomly generated. The member is expected to change it, on their profile page.
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/password-reset-notification-email-customization/#:~:text=the%20simple%20membership%20plugin%20uses%20a%20very%20simple%20password%20reset%20functionality%20by%20default.%20it%20works%20like%20the%20following%3AWe assume the security of the member’s email account has not been compromised. For if it was compromised, it would not matter if it was a randomly generated password, or a link to choose a new one. The fact this is a randomly generated password is enough of an incentive for most members to visit their profile page to select an easier password.

ModeratorWhen we look at the IPN history on PayPal account we are seeing error 503 when PayPal is trying to communicate with the script / server?
Usually the issue is a server security module or WP plugin, that prevents external access to URL in the WP plugin directory.
Who is your hosting provider? Ask your hosting provider if there is any server module or plugin that is preventing the IPN from directly accessing that particular URL.

ModeratorFirst, please ensure you are using the latest version of SWPM; by downloading and installing the latest version.
Next, ensure that SWPM debug logs are turned on.
Then, complete the following checklist to determine if configuration errors exist:
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/forums/topic/test-for-plugin-and-theme-conflict-before-posting-an-issue-or-a-bug/BTW, are you using any page caching plugins or server modules?
The Assurer
ModeratorThis only affects these two members, yes. The are “expired” even when the payment is validated
If you look in the SWPM debug log, do you see any processing of IPN from the payment gateway, when the payment is made?
Also I noticed that I can’t change manually any member status. It always go back to the previous. For example I have a member who cancel the membership deleting his own account but the member is still there and “active”, I tried to change to expired o cancelled but it returns again to “active” :/
Are you using any kind of page caching plugins or server modules?

ModeratorContrary to popular belief; what you are asking about is a receipt. An invoice is a demand for payment, presented to a customer, before goods or services are received. A receipt is presented to a customer after payment for goods or services is received. A bill is like an invoice, but is presented in cases where goods or services are received before they are paid for.
- Amazon generates invoices , because your payment method is not charged until the order actually ships.
- Grocery stores generate receipts, after you pay for your groceries.
- Hotels generate bills, when you checkout.
Because payments are processed by the payment gateways (PayPal, Stripe, et al), the email sent by the payment gateway is the receipt.

ModeratorDo you have the SWPM debug logs turned on? If not, please turn them on. You want to see if the payment IPN went through; the next time this happens. In the absence of receiving the IPN, the membership will automatically expire.
Are only these 2 members affected, and nobody else?
