For security reasons, we need to update the Registration Complete and Password Reset email templates to not show the {password} in the emails, and we’d instead like to force the user to click on a link in the email to set their password manually. How would we go about doing this?
The password is randomly generated. The member is expected to change it, on their profile page.

We assume the security of the member’s email account has not been compromised. For if it was compromised, it would not matter if it was a randomly generated password, or a link to choose a new one. The fact this is a randomly generated password is enough of an incentive for most members to visit their profile page to select an easier password.
Enable the following feature in the settings menu of the plugin:
Enable Password Reset Using Link
Then you can remove the password tags from the email settings menu.
