ModeratorI do not understand the question. The login form has a “Forgot Password” link on it already.

ModeratorAre these the instructions you are following?

ModeratorYou have the option of emailing a reset link, that must be clicked; which is sent to the email address.

ModeratorYou must maintain your own version control over the modified file. Whenever an update to the plugin occurs, you must ensure you can reestablish your changes.

ModeratorWhat character set are you using? Are you using non-Latin characters in your WordPress installation?

ModeratorThe “Login Session Expired” page is hard coded in the class.swpm.auth.php file. If you are proficient at PHP coding; search for the third occurrence of the “Login Session Expired” string, and make the desired changes.

Moderator<quote>I have a question about the newly added “Active Login Limit” feature.</quote>
Where do you find such a feature documented? The Assurer
ModeratorYes, the WordPress administrator must have an SWPM account. SWPM Member and WordPress User accounts are two separate entities. SWPM Member accounts grant access to protected content. WordPress User accounts grant access to regular WordPress activities, such as allowing access to the SWPM dashboard.
If a WordPress administrator wants to view protected content; they must have an SWPM Member account that has been granted access to particular protected pages. You might have a “Free admin” membership account to test how Free memberships see the site; a “Silver Admin” membership account to see how Silver memberships see the site; and so on. Or you might have a single “God Admin” membership to see all site content. This choice is up to you.

ModeratorSWPM is Open Source code. If you are adept at PHP programming, and can resolve this on your own; you may submit code updates for the developer’s consideration.

ModeratorPer the developer, in this previous thread; you can only select the “standard” WP roles:
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/forums/topic/backend-permissions/
Perhaps you can assign the membership person to the Editor role?November 4, 2024 at 12:47 am in reply to: jump to registerstration page directly after finishing payment #29037The Assurer

https://simple-membership-plugin.com/providing-specific-wp-user-roles-access-plugins-admin-dashboard/If you do not want to allow any other WP permissions, and just SWPM; create a special SWPM role in WP.

ModeratorAnd you are using the primary, and not the alternative method described?
And the post is being page protected?
