Tagged: Admin user
We have a person who will be responsible for membership. How can I create a WP user to admin the Simple Membership plugin but not have they be able to change other WP features and pages.
At a minimum, how do I let the membership user View but not change Simple Membership?

If you do not want to allow any other WP permissions, and just SWPM; create a special SWPM role in WP.
Thank you for your quick response. I have used the members plugin by MembersPress to create a new role called Membership. The new role appears in the add new user screen of WP, so I know it worked. But it does not show up in the SWPM menu item “Admin Dashboard Access Permission” as an option interestingly, neither do the WooCommerce Roles appear. Do I need to grant any specific permissions to the new Role for it to show up as an option?
Per the developer, in this previous thread; you can only select the “standard” WP roles:

Perhaps you can assign the membership person to the Editor role?
Thank You. Is there a way to ask for future product enhancements?
SWPM is Open Source code. If you are adept at PHP programming, and can resolve this on your own; you may submit code updates for the developer’s consideration.
