    Well, again I’ve asked several questions and none were addressed. Your usual answer is to ck the Debug, which I always do, and there’s never much there.

    Yes, I have checked it. And Under Test & Debug Settings this is all that is there:

    [12/30/2015 8:41 PM] – SUCCESS : Log file reset
    ——————————————————————

    and, this person doesn’t have issues…yet…that they know of.

    3) Or would this be a problem?

    Under Settings > Forums:

    Under Forum User Settings … Auto role does NOT have a choice of “Subscriber” like on Members Users.

    Only Participant (for members).
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    there has to be a simple reason. I’ve looked online, chat rooms.
    I started a new thread… to make it easier 4 you.
    I did do that. I deactivated All of them.
    Reset still doesn’t work.
    Hi,
    You have a page here re uploading “Enable bbPress Integration” altho I don’t see that plugin add-on anywhere to upload.
    Is this outdated info? Or/and would this be related to the problem?
    Login Widget is also the Buddy Press Login widget since SM doesn’t have one. Unless there is something other way to handle login and that might be a PW Reset problem.
    I’ve read your Doc’s and don’t see anything there. I could have missed it. Thanks
    It’s a blank white screen.
    Still get error message: No such user email. Yet users are there and login just fine.
    should I use something besides [swpm_reset_form] on my password reset page?
    yes, always updating plugins. Altho, your plugin comes up with problems daily on my WordFence security
    OK, User can access now.
    The Password Reset isn’t working bec msg is “No user found with that email address.”
    This message happens to everyone now, including me. So something changed. Password Reset always worked b4.
    I may have solved it with adding .35 and explaining it on my Join Us page.
    ourcarebooks.com
    Just a thought to your Great Plugin in case you want to add another Field to Free like … Limit # ____ each month.
    Then we can determine how many we want to budget for…say, if we enter 50, then we know we won’t be charged anymore than $17 for the month, or whatever number we choose. 😀
    Hi, Merry Christmas ~*~
    Paypal charges fees for customers to use.
    There are several plans but the typical plans charge:
    $30 a month +
    2.9% of the amount charged +
    .30 (changing to 35 cents in 2016, I hear)
    3.9% for International each transaction
    3.1% + .30 domestic for Virtual (phone) + 1% across “border”
    These amounts are ok. The problem is that every Free Paypal “charge” costs the business owner. The .35 will be deducted from our checking account…which could add up due to spammers and looky-loos.
    ~~~~~
    Let’s say Membership = $29.00

    29.00
    (.84) 2.9% of $29
    (.35) each paypal transaction
    ——
    27.81 This is not a problem and used to accounting for it.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    It’s just each PP transaction will be deducted even if it’s 0.00.
    So we LOSE Money on Free Trials.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Unless you see something different in PP Terms. Then please send me that link.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the late reply, YE and clients wait for last minute help on taxes/acctg.

    1) Thank you, you are right. I changed my helpers/friends from s2 to Subscriber. Yet nothing shows under Member.

    2) Does someone actually have to pay and use the buttons b4 they get listed on the Members? I thought I could make them Members.

    3) How do I show a diff level? Couldn’t find your page on Choices but should I set Free/Gold AND Platinum to all Subscribers?

    Thanks

    Although there’s another current post where members aren’t adding to their site either.
    oh, you’re not s2member? I thought I deleted everything from a previous plugin.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    RE the Join problem. Very strange but all I did was Copy/Paste the same info on my Join Us page and paste it to a new Join Us page and it worked. Maybe a hidden code got wrapped up in that page.
    When I get some members happening, I can buy/upgrade. Vet bills and such lately.
    Thanks
    RE:
    I have Users but nothing under Members.
    WP Membership > Members is 0.
    Although there are 4 Users (Participant, Keymaster)
    Not sure if this is also a problem with this issue.
    Are these users signed up as WordPress members or did they sign up into Simple Membership plugin?
    They are Not paying members and more helpers.
    However, 2 are assigned as s2MemberLevel 4, 1 is a Subscriber, another a Contributor
    Thank You for all the info. You’re great! 🙂
    Solution to Edit Profile: After searching the web and youtube for days and days…and Praying to my Angels, while waving my Magic Wand…I finally came upon a Plugin that was what I was looking for.
    Searching for a Howdy Activity Toolbar for the Frontend for Members is:
    WP User Frontend
    I’m not using a lot of what comes with it–I just need the Howdy. Seems to be a lot of complaints–but so far it’s working great for me.
    Now a Happy Camper!
