ParticipantSome of my users are confused about when they need to log in. It would be helpful to have an indication of whether the user was logged in to Simple Membership or not.
I like the sidebar widget idea. I would be great to have a shortcode that just generates a short text: “Logged in as username>.” if logged in, or “Click here to login.” if not logged in, with the ability to define a hyper link for the second text.

ParticipantAlso, entering members manually does not generate a payment transaction. I guess this leads to a general question, how can users record new members and payments that do not pay through the web front end payment process. For example, if they pay by check or cash? Is there no provision for that?

ParticipantYes, the whole registration process runs as expected from the front end.
But not for manually entered members–nothing happens. Even if you go to Settings/Tools and select Generate a Completion Link for all Incomplete Registrations, nothing gets listed. And if you check the Send a Registration Reminder Email, nothing gets sent.

ParticipantYes and yes.
There are no entries in the log file. I reset the log file, then created a new member twice. Here is the log file result:

ParticipantCan you provide documentation to enable use of CSV to WP CSV to Database to populate the member list from a CSV file?
