ParticipantWhen you enter a new member using the plugin interface in the WordPress administrative panel, the MailChimp integration features don’t work. This is a big problem for us when members who pay by check or fill out a credit card form to be entered later by our staff. In these cases we need to enter the new member manually, but we still need to finish the registration process and have the member included in our MailChimp list.
Is there a fix for this?

ModeratorHi, when you add a new member manually do you also add them to a membership level? Does the membership level have the MailChimp list added?
If it does, can you enable Debug mode. Create a new test member and then check the log file. Can you report back with any findings.
Thank you

ParticipantYes and yes.
There are no entries in the log file. I reset the log file, then created a new member twice. Here is the log file result:

ModeratorIf you register a new member via the front end of your site do they get added to the MailChimp list?

ParticipantYes, the whole registration process runs as expected from the front end.
But not for manually entered members–nothing happens. Even if you go to Settings/Tools and select Generate a Completion Link for all Incomplete Registrations, nothing gets listed. And if you check the Send a Registration Reminder Email, nothing gets sent.

ModeratorThank you for reporting back. The plugin developers will investigate further your findings.

ParticipantAlso, entering members manually does not generate a payment transaction. I guess this leads to a general question, how can users record new members and payments that do not pay through the web front end payment process. For example, if they pay by check or cash? Is there no provision for that?
