ParticipantI just used the free “Visual Form Builder” and created a form. Replaced your shortcode on the signup page with the forms shortcode.
They will have to add the members manually via the emailed information the form sends.
They had to do a manual verification process anyways so works out OK, and eliminates the spam registrations.fmsdigital
ParticipantWE have to pay almost $50- just to do that????

ParticipantYeah, I did that sort of a workaround and it worked. Actually, I created BOTH a new membership level “Membership 2019” Gave it a Jan 15 2020 expiration and then created a new pay button for the new level, and place its code on the renewals page.
It did automatically upgrade the user from the existing level to the new level.
So I guess as long as we do that every year it will work.
Thanks?fmsdigital
ParticipantWell, I guess if the owners don’t complain?
Otherwise off to find a better plugin I guess.fmsdigital
ParticipantYes.
And it does look like that is what is happening.
However, I’m not switching themes and creating a new website for these people.
Do you have a solution for this?fmsdigital
ParticipantThe same thing is happening with Expired members notice.
When on the Category page the correct text is there. ( just no active links )
The once you click the “Continue Reading” and jump to the individual post. Things are fine.

ParticipantSounds like you’re just trying to give me busy work because you do not have a solution?
First a link that “Doesn’t work” that actually does….Now a link to troubleshooting which everyone who has read the forums has seen.
Now…thin we can move on to this situation and why the text before the Read more does not contain the links? Thanks
