I already had that setting enabled, but it is not working. Yes, I see that the login information is blank, but I am still able to access protected material without signing back in. (I exited the browser, per your instructions.)
I’m sure you’re as frustrated by this query as I am. I don’t want to delete the plugin and start over as I will loose all the members. I’m at a loss now for what to do.

ParticipantWell, we’re making progress.
1. I purged the cache and then de-activated it.
2. I disabled SG Optimizer and activated WP Super Cache.
Now I can login and logout, but the problem is that it still ‘says’ I’m logged in. (I know that I’m not only because I can’t get into protected pages.) It’s only after I go to another page on the site that the login resets itself and shows I’m logged out.
This is going to be very confusing to our members who have always been able to login and logout.

ParticipantAlso, I notice that when I attempt to logout, I am still logged into the areas that are protected. This is a mess.
What would happen if I deactivate the plugin and start over?

I’m using SG Optimizer, but I’m not the only one having this problem. It’s some of the members. (And I’m testing on different browsers.)

ParticipantThanks so much for your response. Turns out we had a lot of problems due to a plugin conflict. Everything is working now. 😀

I just remembered that right after I did my test in which I was told I could login, someone else registered right behind me and I received his notification. I approved him and he was set. So I’m wondering if what happened was just a fluke because I am the administrator of the site. I say this because I tried to login, but it said I couldn’t because I was already logged in as the administrator. So I went to another browser to login and managed to do so.
I don’t want to take the time to deactivate plugins and such. It’s my intuition that that’s not the cause. I’m thinking now that what happened has to do with me being an administrator. So we can close this ticket for now. If it happens to someone else then I’ll submit a new ticket. Thank you for your time.
