ParticipantI’m confused by a message I received when I did a test registration. The message said, “Your registration is complete. Please login.” (may not be exact)
The question I have is how is that possible because, of course, I had not been approved yet? I can’t find any message in the settings to be able to edit this message.

ModeratorCheck the following feature Default Account status under General Settings? If it is set to Active, then all new registrations will be activated straight away.

ParticipantNope. It’s set to ‘pending.’ Strange, huh?

ParticipantThanks for your responses.
I just remembered that right after I did my test in which I was told I could login, someone else registered right behind me and I received his notification. I approved him and he was set. So I’m wondering if what happened was just a fluke because I am the administrator of the site. I say this because I tried to login, but it said I couldn’t because I was already logged in as the administrator. So I went to another browser to login and managed to do so.
I don’t want to take the time to deactivate plugins and such. It’s my intuition that that’s not the cause. I’m thinking now that what happened has to do with me being an administrator. So we can close this ticket for now. If it happens to someone else then I’ll submit a new ticket. Thank you for your time.
