The bulk post/page protection option should be useful for unprotecting previously protected posts.

I’ll add a wish-list item to include a reset option specifically for protection settings.
If you apply category protection to certain content, the category protection will take priority over individual content protection. To apply individual protection to content within protected categories, you need to either fully remove the category protection or move the content to an unprotected category.
Fully remove category protection means that you undo everything you did previously (not just half).

The option I mentioned has been recently added to the plugin. It’s still on my todo list to add to our documentation.
Try using the ‘payment_method_types’ parameter in the Stripe Buy Now button’s shortcode. Below is an example of how to use it:

Hi, we currently don’t have an option to customize that system message (temporary message before redirection).
There’s no foolproof way to prevent sharing of a Google Drive file when using the “Anyone with the link can access” setting.
While you can embed the file using Google’s viewer URL, users can still inspect the page source and extract the file ID, making it accessible outside the embed.
If security is a concern, consider an alternative approach:
- Convert the Google Doc into a PDF or download an Excel copy and provide it as a controlled download for members.
- This allows you to limit direct access and update the file periodically—such as once a month or whenever changes are made—by replacing the existing version.
This method offers better control over who can access the content.

We are generally very receptive to incorporating new action or filter hooks into our plugins. If you have specific suggestions, please feel free to indicate the exact file and line number where you believe a hook would be beneficial. Alternatively, you are welcome to submit a pull request with your proposed hook to our plugin’s GitHub repository.

Hi, there are multiple versions of the French translations, so it’s important to update the correct translation file for your version of the plugin. The file name must match your version.
To determine the correct translation file name for your site, follow these steps:
1) Navigate to the Tools menu in the Simple Membership plugin.
2) Go to the System Info tab.
3) Look for the “Language” field and note its value. What does it display?For example, the English language can have different versions, such as US English and UK English. If your site is using US English, you need to create or update the following language files; otherwise, the changes won’t take effect:
