My WP version is 5.2
My PHP version is 7.2May 29, 2019 at 2:46 pm #18356VladParticipantI want to thank all who have given thoughts and suggestions, but my issue is not with LOGIN.
My issue is with REGISTRATION. When one goes to our HOME PAGE, the first thing the see is “To obtain assess to our website, Please Register, for FREE…” When they click the link, REGISTER, to goes to the REGISTRATION page. If they click the JOIN US link, the page opens up that talks about the benefits of joining the FREE MEMBERSHIP, and if they click the JOIN US link, it does not to to the REGISTRATION page, so they can register and become a FREE Member, but it goes back to the JOIN US page.
Even after attempting to redirect by inserting a link to go to the REGISTER page, the JOIN US redirect link re-appears.
What is going on and how can I correct this?
May 30, 2019 at 12:38 am #18363mbrsolutionModeratorHi @vlad, the documentation I shared in a previous post explains how to edit the Join Us page. This page is created by SMP by default when you first install the plugin. It is up to you to edit this page to suit your needs.
Kind regards
July 21, 2019 at 7:49 pm #18650SchiebermcParticipantHello,
Like many others here, I am having a login redirect issue. When navigating to a protected page, I get the message indicating that I am not logged in. When I click the login link, I am redirected to a a page indicating that I am *actually* logged in. Attempting to visit the protected page, I get the same message. Loop and repeat.
Here is what I have tried:
1. disabling all plugins
2. disabling all themes
3. ensured only http pages exists on my site
4. ensured only www pages exists on my site
3. forced WP and Simple Membership synchronization.
4. removed caching from site (endurance level 0)
5. ensured no caching plugins exists
6. contacted my server provided, reset cache, disabled cache, ensured PHP is up to date and functional.I might also add that I have another site on the same server, that is not plagued by this issue, and that the site has no apparent differences.
Is there any other advice? I see many people have the identical issue, but they never post the solution, weird.

Thank you for your response.
Unfortunately, the problem is persistent across other user levels – not just admin.July 22, 2019 at 12:19 am #18653mbrsolutionModeratorJuly 22, 2019 at 12:25 am #18654SchiebermcParticipantJuly 22, 2019 at 12:36 am #18655mbrsolutionModeratorHi, I have submitted a message to the developers to investigate further your issue.
Thank you
July 22, 2019 at 7:32 am #18659adminKeymasterThis means some page configurations have been messed up. I will need to manually go through your settings and check that the following is correctly configured. Then check all the other settings of the plugin and correct (if needed):
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/membership-registration-process-overview/This is a manual process that I can do if you submit that premium support ticket.

All of their members have already paid for this year’s membership. I have uploaded them into Simple Membership and set their user name and membership level. However, when I click the “forgot my password” link, it does not take me to a page to reset my password. It just stays on the same page (very frustrating). I cannot figure out what the issue is.

Can you provide the steps you took to upload the members into the membership area in your site?

Can you confirm all the default pages created by our plugin exist in your site. Please check the following documentation for instructions.

Let me know if the above helps you.
Thank you

Yes, all of the pages exist. However, as your instructions state, I created my own form for join because we needed it to go to the membership chair for review (we don’t automatically approve membership).
April 5, 2021 at 11:00 pm #22416mbrsolutionModeratorHi, can you share a link to the page with the “forgot my password” link.
Thank you
