Brilliant thanks
January 4, 2019 at 4:54 am #17087I’ve added the plug-in mentioned in Checklist #1 but the problem still persists. Is there another solution?
January 5, 2019 at 1:08 am #17089Please explain the behavior are you experiencing so I get an idea of what could be happening on your site.
January 5, 2019 at 5:05 pm #17090After logging in on the protected page, I’m then brought to the member profile. Then when I click to go back to the protected page I’m asked to login again and the cycle repeats.
January 6, 2019 at 3:55 am #17092If you use the browser’s back button just after you log in, it won’t work because the back button will put you in the same state (non logged-in) as you were just before the redirection.
So are you clicking on a navigation link on the site or a link in the page that you are being redirecting to or are you clicking on the back button of the browser?
Some of these login related issues are plugin conflict related. It may require us to log into your site and check your setup then see what could be conflicting on this particular site. Troubleshooting site specific issues like this is beyond the scope of free support unfortunately (Everyone uses a different set of plugins and different server configuration so it is a little tricky and time consuming to figure it out).
January 29, 2019 at 1:10 am #17239Hello,
I am having a similar problem. It asks the user to login and then asks to login again when i try to access a restricted page. However i noticed if i login and give it about 5 mins then i can access the member pages without an issue. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I have disabled other pluggins and tested, also cleared server cache.Thank you
January 29, 2019 at 1:46 am #17240That looks like a caching issue to me. Users are always seeing a cached page which is not going to work for a membership type site (where you need to show a page based on the status of the member). What behavior do you see when you turn off caching and empty the cache?
March 21, 2019 at 6:43 pm #17651Hi
Any one can tell me why in the world I cannot make this plugin work?
When I get to protected page i see message :
“You need to login to view this content. Please Login. Not a Member? Join Us”
Grate when I click on Join Us it open /membership-join/ and when you click on the button Join Now I get here
This is a message I get ”
Free membership is disabled on this site. Please make a payment from the Join Us page to pay for a premium membership.
You will receive a unique link via email after the payment. You will be able to use that link to complete the premium membership registration.”
So I cannot make it work no matter that i tried.Your assistance would be appreciated

March 22, 2019 at 5:27 am #17656@levsky, What are you trying to do? Do you want a combination of free and paid membership or just paid or just free?
Read the registration process documentation so you understand how the registration process works with this plugin:
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/membership-registration-process-overview/May 8, 2019 at 6:56 am #18152Hi, can we please have a configuration/integration guide for LiteSpeed Cache (as you do for W3 Total & WP Super) to remedy this situation? Thank you.
May 25, 2019 at 7:44 pm #18327I am new to this plugin and seem to be having an issue with the Registration page. When clicking the “JOIN US” button, the link takes me back to the Join US page. I have edited the link for the Join Us button wit the “Registration” page and it still takes me back to the Join Us button.
It is like the REGISTRATION PAGE is not there. Am I doing something WRONG??? I have looked for tutorials to help me with this issue and have not found anything? What can I or should I do?
May 26, 2019 at 12:00 am #18329Hi @vlad, please check the following documentation. Let me know if this helps you.

May 28, 2019 at 2:59 pm #18335Thanks for the suggestions. I tried to find and install the WP SUPER CACHE and the W3 TOTAL CACHE Plugins and it was stated that both are not available because of compatibility and security reasons.
I have tried the suggested variant ways to check for problems and have not found any resolution to the issue I am having.
When I have tried to add the REGISTRATION Link to the Join Us button and hit the apply button, it does not save the link, but resorts back to the Join Us Link.
What could the issue be?????
