ModeratorNo, you would have one page, with different sections; and each section would be specific to a particular membership level.

ModeratorMy concern is that you will “break something,” when the next recurring payment happens. I’ll check with the developer.

ModeratorAre these one-time purchases or recurring (subscription) purchases?
January 5, 2024 at 3:45 pm in reply to: Just SOME members that pay via PayPal will not show up in list of users #27556The Assurer
ModeratorI want to stress that MOST users that pay via PayPal will show up in the members list, get sent a registration redirect and email and can then register. But SOME users will not show up in the members list, receive NO registration email etc. How can this be and how can I trouble-shoot?
You can start by turning on the debug logs. Without debug logs, we have no idea what the problem is.
For every successful PayPal payment, an IPN is sent from PayPal to SWPM. Once an IPN is received, it should show up in the debug logs, and you can trace its progress through the SWPM membership processing.
If no IPN is received; it means the issue is either with PayPal denying the purchase, or a misconfiguration of the IPN setup on your PayPal account. Since “MOST” payments go through, the issue is likely PayPal restrictions on either the purchaser’s payment method, or country of origin.

ModeratorFor each product page, you would use Partial or Section Protection, so that different membership levels would only see products priced at their assigned level.

ModeratorWordPress USER accounts are separate entities from SWPM MEMBER accounts. This makes it possible for a site to have only one WordPress admin USER, and several hundred SWPM MEMBERS.
Any SWPM MEMBERS that you want to grant WP admin access, must have a corresponding WordPress USER account that has the appropriate roles.

ModeratorDo I need to create a new SWPM user account for me as the WP site admin? That seems redundant
That is correct; WordPress USERS are separate entities from SWPM MEMBERS. It is possible for a site to have only one WordPress admin USER, and several hundred SWPM MEMBERS.
If you have several existing WordPress USER accounts; for which you want to create corresponding SWPM MEMBER accounts, there is an available addon for this:

ModeratorWhen it comes to the actual “job” of SWPM, the WordPress admin is “just another member.” Just create a special admin membership level, and make sure it has access to every page & post. Then assign yourself and any assistants to that special level.
SWPM does not support 1:N member to membership levels. It is strictly a 1:1 member to membership level system. If you require 1:N memberships, please consider our more advanced WP eMember product:
