Tagged: edit unregistered member's info
Hi,
I have a member who’s registered (via PayPal payment made w/o PayPal account) but with a typo in the email address. I find that I cannot correct the email address manually in the members list for this (yet unregistered) member. Is there a reason or a workaround?
I’m currently manually sending the registration link to their correct email address with instructions to change their email later, but my users aren’t tech-savvy and I’d prefer to help them with easy tasks just like that instead of bothering them.
Thanks in advance,
Are these one-time purchases or recurring (subscription) purchases?
Hi, these are subscriptions.
My concern is that you will “break something,” when the next recurring payment happens. I’ll check with the developer.
As the admin of the site, you can do the following:
Communicate with that user and ask him/her if you can do the following:
#1) Generate a link to complete the registration for that member from the tools menu
#2) Use it yourself to complete the registration and let the member know that he/she can log into the site and adjust/update the email address.
