Participantsimple membership user can also log into wordpress admin panel you can assign an admin role to the membership level. so what you are looking for, is simple membership plugin’s core functionality.

Participant1. do you have any subdomain where you redirect users after login?
you can also try disabling all other plugins to see if login works correctly. if that is the case then some other plugin is conflicting with simplemember

I investigated it and i do get email when registration is complete. you could check if default wordpress email is working or not. -
