ParticipantWell the problem has changed a bit.
I realized that whenever I use the Custom Message add-on it changes the classes of that message to .entry-content.
For example, when I change the Restricted Post message the class goes from .swpm-post-no-access-msg to .entry-content. Like all of them. This wouldn’t be a problem, I’d just use that one class to target all the messages but the login shortcode is ALSO linked to this class.
I want to add custom messages and then customize them but I can’t do both of these things at once. If I add the custom messages I can’t use CSS.

ParticipantHi.
Im getting Paypal IPN information back to my server log file, but not to the plugin log file (and obviously no users created and no emails).
My plugin logfile will show an entry into it if I use the admin reset link, but it shows no other entries.Ive disabled the plugin, deleted files, re-installed again and still no joy.
Ugg, we were going live tomorrow and now this!I thought Paypal needed the site to run in HTTPS mode when sending back IPN info. Are you sure that for the latest changes Paypal have made, your plugin works in https with payments from Paypal?
Any other ideas to resolve my issue?

ParticipantHi. Its just simple HTML Im using to test.
I think to make quicker progress you could tell me what files and how the read more function works in your plugin. because as mentioned the paragraphs display fine if the page is not restricted, and if it is (using the read more feature) the excerpt will not display correctly. It happens in default themes with no other plugins, so how does your plugin intercept the readmore tag and show the excerpt? You can see an example up at http://purefamilyfood.com/test/
<p>Odio eum, luptatum feugiat nonummy feugait zzril amet ipsum illum euismod. ParticipantHi, thanks for the last post but still no luck.
Ive deactivated all plugins, and only left the Simple Membership Core plugin active (even deactivated custom messages and login after redirect).
Then I changed to default WordPress Sixteen theme and unfortunatly the issue is still there. What I have noticed is if I leave the Default WordPress Editor in TEXT mode, and put in manual HTML P tags, and save it will work.
If I switch the Editor to VISUAL view then by default it takes the paragraph tags out, but leaves the paragraph spacing in so it looks like paragraphs (eg: it kinda triggers its own paragraph breaks when outputting it on the page). Anyhow… in Visual mode it does not work with the membership plugin excerpt feature. Can you please test this again at your end to see this. as Im now just using your plugin and default theme and its still not working (latest wordpress).

ParticipantHello, yes.
http://purefamilyfood.com/recipe/chicken-nuggets/This page uses a Recipe Plugin for WordPress, however the issue is the same on this test post page, which has 3 paragraphs in the HTML editor box.
http://purefamilyfood.com/2016/10/14/test-blog-recipe/
You can see as soon as I `activate the READMORE Feature in the Membership plugin that it strips out the HTML paragraph formatting from the Excerpt. It will not strip out the ahref link.. just the paragraphs.
Thanks for any help.
