ParticipantHi,
Is there a way to customize the Stripe payment popup? I would like it to show better that it is Stripe that is handling the payment? So maybe add the Stripe logo and a link to their website.
I could of course add some additional text and logo on the page where I place the payment button…
ThanksDecember 29, 2018 at 8:49 pm #17048mbrsolution
ModeratorHi, you could add the word Stripe to the button.
For example:
[swpm_payment_button id=75 button_text=”Stripe Pay Now” class=””]
Would that work for you?
Kind regards

ParticipantI have added the logo and can add some more styling.
But the button in the popup says “Pay”, how can I translate this? Only in core file?

ModeratorHi, did you following these instructions to create your button?

ParticipantYes, is there another way?
But I cannot see how this will affect the popup windows label button “Pay”?

ModeratorHi, just for troubleshooting purposes try the following instructions. Maybe there is another plugin in your site causing a conflict.

ParticipantOk, but should the button in the popup translate to local languange? If I activate “Collect customer address” the first button in the popup is translated but not the second screen. It still says “Pay”

ParticipantWell, yes for the styling. But not the translation “issue”. Where can I find where to translate “Pay” in the button?

ModeratorThe popup is being generated by Stripe. I “believe” that, because the rest of the popup is in Swedish, the issue may just be that Stripe doesn’t know the proper translation. Can you find other sites, that use Stripe, in which the correct button translation appears?

ParticipantHi, finally got and answer from Stripe:
“To be the first to answer your question about the “Pay with Card” button, I would like to know if you have Stripe Checkout or Stripe.js integrated into your website. Our default language setting is English, but you have the option to customize Stripe Checkout here. You can find more information under the following link:https://stripe.com/docs/checkout#integration-simple
https://stripe.com/docs/checkout#integration-custom
In short, you can use a Swedish translation by adjusting the following parameters accordingly:
Simple / Simple Integration (Standard Button): “data-locale = ‘auto'”
Custom / Custom Integration (Stripe.js): “locale: ‘auto'”I’ve included some information here on how to change the default language in Checkout to Swedish here:
https://stripe.com/docs/checkout#supported-languages
However, since you mentioned that you’re using Simple Membership Plugin. They will be the one in charge of implementing the changes on your site. You can share to them all the details that I have provided so they can check our website for the integration or they might have already added the Checkout for you.”
Best regards
