ParticipantStripe payment button doesn’t work on desktop. When you click on it the page doesn’t go anywhere. But it works fine on mobile. Please advise.

ModeratorWhat O/S, browser and version are you using? Please provide links and instructions on how to recreate the issue.

ParticipantTry this page https://www.jarodd76.club/membership-join/subscribe/
Go to pay with credit/debit card and you will see that when you push the button nothing happens.
Currently using Windows 10, latest version of chrome browser.
Works fine on Pixel C teblet, running latest version of Android and Chrome (mobile)March 18, 2018 at 12:16 am #13770mbrsolution

Moderator@Sam, as of this morning, the button works “as expected” for me:

ParticipantI think you’ve tried the PayPal button not Stripe.

ModeratorGotcha, didn’t immediately see those tabs…
The button behaves in the manner you described… nothing happens. When I inspect the (Buy Now) code for the PayPal VS Stripe buttons… I noticed that the Stripe buttons don’t seem to have any “submit” action in the button code!
Did you correctly copy all of the button code?
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/create-stripe-buy-now-button-for-membership-payment/Have you always had that tabbed payment page? Have you tried putting the payment buttons on different pages?

ParticipantI used the following shortcode
[swpm_payment_button id=75 button_text=”Pay Now” class=””]
This made the buttons the same as the rest of my theme and is what broke it. I’ve now changed the buttons back to standard (it works again on desktop) and then made both the stripe and paypal the same with a button image.

ParticipantCancel my last comment, I think this is actually a caching issue because it started again with the standard buttons. I’ve set a rule not to cache that page and it seems to have resolved things now.
