Tagged: troubleshooting
Hi,
I’ve set up the plugin on a staging site for a client, set up a test user (Subscriber level), added a membership level (id 2, name “Test”, level “Subscriber”, No Expiry), added a new test page with protection turned on and the membership level set to “Test”. There is only one membership level (the one I mentioned, id 2).
When I use a new incognito browser to go to the page it prompts me to log in. I log in as the test user. When I now go to the test page I get the error “This content is not permitted for your membership level.” with no actions available. Nothing is written in the logfile http://SITE_ADDRESS/wp-content/plugins/simple-membership/log.txt
Instead, I expected to see the test page I created when logged in as this test user.
Hi, please check the following instructions.

If the above does not help, please follow these troubleshooting steps.

Let me know how you go.
Thank you
