ParticipantThank you. I’ve considered it.
I think I have solved the problem. You may close this ticket.

ParticipantI had read that before I checked with you.
I will look around for another plug in. Thank you.

ParticipantThank you, I will definitely read more of the documentation, although at times I feel developers should hire me to write their documentation in ‘laymen’s’ language. LOL
I have been chatting with the host of our site and it turns out that all the spam notifications have been coming from people trying to register as a user. I disabled their ability to do so.
Thank you for your time.

ParticipantThat sounds like a good thing, but this is very complicated. I installed the plugin and I’m looking through it, but I have no idea what IP address is spamming and I’m not sure how to block it. This is a very complicated plugin, and more technical than I am able to understand. If you are able to tell me specifically what setting to check, I’d be grateful.

ParticipantPlease explain to me how this would help? At this point, I’m about to remove the entire Members’ area as dealing with this has been too much, which I assume is the point of the spammer.

ParticipantWell, there is a very vicious person doing this. I removed the email address in settings, and the person duplicated a notification and sent it to another email address associated with our organization.

ParticipantArghhh! Those are the instructions that I already read and followed. I did exactly as you said, but the Join Us had no icon. Was there supposed to be some kind of code for that page like with the other directions?
I have now installed and uninstalled the plug-in about 5 times trying to get the pages back that came the first time I installed it.

ParticipantI had the same problem, but when I added back in a “Join Us” page, there was no link to follow for someone to sign up.
