ParticipantHi
I have a zip file that puts a captcha on the login page but will not use it because it may be affected by updates. Could you ask the developers if it is possible to incorporate it in an update so it isn’t affected? It just adds a captcha to the login page. Let me know and I can email the file for them to look at.strifemut
ParticipantPerhaps you would be kind enough to tell me where I can find this form [swpm_login_form]?
Surely this is possible!

ParticipantHi Again
Do you have any news? I find it difficult to comprehend a login system that has security on registration but not on the regular login. Could you get some comment from the developers please? Thank you.strifemut
ParticipantThank you. Really appreciated.

ParticipantCan someone tell me where I find this form – [swpm_login_form] – please?
I have the instructions for adding the Captcha to a custom form. These are the instructions:
Surely this request can’t be that difficult. I’ve looked through all the files but can’t find it. When I find the form I can test adding the Captcha.
Actually I am surprised that the login page doesn’t have a Captcha because it is more important than the registration page.

ParticipantWe seem to have gone around in a circle.
I am still trying to get Captcha on the Simple Member Login Page.
I can use the instructions below but don’t know how to add lines into this form [swpm_login_form]. Maybe you could advise? I don’t want to upset the actual member login process. It works fine on the website contact and I am just trying to get the same on the member login.
Can anybody help this pensioner work out how what I have to do? Cheers

ParticipantBottom line is I have it on [swpm_registration_form] but not on [swpm_login_form]

ParticipantHi – Yes I am and it it works on the Registration page but not on the login page. If you look at the contact on http://www.verasnetwork.com you can see the Captcha I have there. I’d love to have that on the members login too. It doesn’t matter which one as long as I have one.
Thanks.

ParticipantIt should say I installed WP User Import but it makes no difference.

ParticipantHi – I followed installed the plugin but it didn’t make any difference. Maybe I am doing something wrong?

ParticipantHi
I can log into the members only section and then into the WordPress Dashboard for the website and that all works although at some time it doesn’t work but I don’t know why. If I log into the member only section I can’t then log into the members only section and I get this message:
“Warning! Simple Membership plugin cannot process this login request to prevent you from getting logged out of WP Admin accidentally.
You are logged into the site as an ADMIN user in this browser. First, logout from WP Admin then you will be able to log in as a member.
Alternatively, you can use a different browser (where you are not logged-in as ADMIN) to test the membership login.
Your normal visitors or members will never see this message. This message is ONLY for ADMIN user.”
I know this happens so can work around it whenever it happens.
I use Simple Membership Google recaptcha for the registration page. This works fine but I also want to add it to the Login page so that every time members login they have to respond to the Captcha. The login is under Member in the menu at the top of the page.

Let me know if you need any more info.

ParticipantEverything works fine except this particular point. Why do you keep insisting we go somewhere else?
The only problem with your answer is this:
When someone closes the browser and the loads it again Simple Membership says they are already logged in and will not let them pass that page. It doesn’t give them any opportunity to log out either. So how do they get back in? How long is the period of time? Maybe they can use the login at the bottom of the page but I am unable to test that myself. I have asked one of the members to check it for me.
strifemut
ParticipantThe problem with not logging out is when they go back in they are forced to login again but they can’t because they are told they are still logged in.

ParticipantSadly I just got this message from one of my members. “Do we need a logout click for Members who have logged in?”
It maybe possible for all members to set up their browsers to delete history but that is not practical.
Any ideas for automatic logout? Redirection doesn’t resolve this.
