it’s time
Participanthello,
I am not a php programmer, but I track each step…. the only way to learn… My website is working again now. I just can’t stand that I cannot fix this last thing myself. Meanwhile, I use a wp plugin Buddypress Members only, but I thought it was not 100% stable. If you have any advice where I can add the text exactly in the theme’s functions.php file I would be very happy.
thanksApril 16, 2018 at 4:55 pm in reply to: Auto Redirect Non Logged-in Users (Protect Whole Site) #14140it’s time
Participantthanks for your quick reply. Well, I changed it back to the original and then it was ok again. I could enter my website again.
Maybe I did paste the text in the wrong place?
where should it be added exactly?April 16, 2018 at 4:01 pm in reply to: Auto Redirect Non Logged-in Users (Protect Whole Site) #14138it’s time
Participanthallo, well there was a second sentence. Second sentence was, “you will need to upload your php file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP”
I tried to do that with Filezilla, but my whole website was not reachable anymore.

ParticipantHi,
yes I did all the steps, and I changed the lists I need for the membership to the ones Simple membership COULD find, so I think it works now.
the other problem was:
[04/07/2017 1:41 PM] – FAILURE: Unable to subscribe.
[04/07/2017 1:41 PM] – FAILURE: Error=400: lixxxtie@motxxxxxxxany.nl is already a list member. Use PUT to insert or update list members.
Maybe I used this email address to start up mailchimp, because I tested other email addresses both in freebies and simple membership and then I did not have that problem. SO i think it is solved now thank you for your support.it’s time
ParticipantI keep on having problems with the mailchimp integration. I am thinking to change from mailchimp to active campaign. Is it possible to integrate simple membership with Active Campaign?
thanks for your reply, regards Lily

ParticipantI have a few other mailchimp lists for freebies, they are not going through a free membership level from simple membership, just a direct optin.
but then if they finally decide to buy through a link of simple memberhip, they cannot be added to the right mailchimp lists, because they are already on another (freebee) list.
hope you understand me, and that I can find a solution.
