Finally I could make it work that new clients are coming on my mailchimp list. But now I do have a client, which is already on another list (I have a few lists for freebies) and now she bought my program, but she could not be added to the list. The debug says: “….. is already a list member. Use PUT to insert or update list members.”

Normally all my new clients will first be on my freebee list and then eventuelly buy my product and come on my client list via simple membership.

how can I solve this?

Did your client sign up to a new membership level? If she did, does this new membership level have a different list added?

I have a few other mailchimp lists for freebies, they are not going through a free membership level from simple membership, just a direct optin.

but then if they finally decide to buy through a link of simple memberhip, they cannot be added to the right mailchimp lists, because they are already on another (freebee) list.

Yes I see what you mean. That option might not currently work in the way the integration is set up.

I do have a question. In your Membership Level what MailChimp list have you added?
