I found the error, it was not the membership plugin, but a defect in the recaptcha plugin.
Firefox was the only browser where there were no problems, otherwise the errors occurred with Chrome, Edge and Opera. Apparently the Firefox browser is not that sensitive.
So the problem is solved. Thanks for the help
