Hi saurabhj91, have you tried adding Gold level to the Membership Join page.

Once they sign up to the Gold level and pay you should see their account with the new members level added. Another words they will have the Free and Gold level added to their account.

Hi mi, I have carried out a test in my website and it works for me. I requested a new password. I received the e-mail letting me know of my new password. I went and entered my new password and it let me into my account. There must be something else that is causing your issue.

Before you go ahead and carry out the following test. Can you enable debug mode and check the log file.

For testing purposes can you add a new user to Simple Membership plugin. Lets say you add them to the Free Members level. Carry out a test and let me know how you go.

Hi the plugin is designed to be separate from WordPress. Another words those who register through Simple Membership plugin are only allowed to log in through the Simple Membership login page. You might like to make a future request for your feature to be added.

@Mi, I did some testing in one of my websites.

1. I logged in as a member
2. I closed the browser tab and then open a new tab and the member was still logged in.
3. I tested different areas of the site and the plugin was working well. I could not access areas that were blocked for this user.
4. I tested the members Profile page and it was working well. I logged out with out a problem.

From my test above the plugin performed well for me. Did I miss a step in my test in regards to your first question above?
