Upgrade membership level

Hi There,

Can it is possible to upgrade membership level. If user has joined in free membership level and afterwards he wants to upgrade the membership level to GOLD. Is it possible user can pay using paypal for gold membership once he is in free membership, can do that from front-end?

Hi saurabhj91, have you tried adding Gold level to the Membership Join page.

Once they sign up to the Gold level and pay you should see their account with the new members level added. Another words they will have the Free and Gold level added to their account.

It means once they are in free membership level and from join us page if they pay for gold membership, user will have free and gold membership both at a time. Am i thinking right?

Yes as far as I know.

But you could test it yourself by creating a temp account and sign them up to the Free membership level and then to the paid level. Then check to see what appears in their account.
