Hi,
When i’m requesting new password (entering my email to simple membership reset password box) i’m getting email from WordPress:
Dear
Here is your new password
User name: myusername
Password: E#GwoAuNpVI)
Thank You
However when i’m entering this password to simple membership login box it doesn’t work. It seems that password was changed for WP user, but not simple membership user. However that user (name: myusername) was registered using simple membership register form (meaning i was not using WP at all, only frontend simple membership stuff).
When i’m trying my old password – it works 🙂 But new generated password doesn’t.
Hi mi, I have carried out a test in my website and it works for me. I requested a new password. I received the e-mail letting me know of my new password. I went and entered my new password and it let me into my account. There must be something else that is causing your issue.
Before you go ahead and carry out the following test. Can you enable debug mode and check the log file.
For testing purposes can you add a new user to Simple Membership plugin. Lets say you add them to the Free Members level. Carry out a test and let me know how you go.
Regards
