Participantif so, is there another way to have people automatically signed up to receive email updates when they pay for their subscription?

ParticipantI don’t see anything in the mailchimp settings for the list. Is the plugin supposed to function in the way that the person needs to confirm email subscription once they sign up via receiving another email?

Participantokay I solved the issue. the error was occurring because my client’s paypal account was not confirmed yet.

Participantjust to check… I was having the same issue with mine. I was testing with sandbox mode, though when in sandbox mode the email that is sent to my “fake sandbox email” does not have anything about a registration link. Should it not have one because it is in sandbox mode?
I wanted to test the system to make sure it works, but am I not able to fully test, in sandbox mode, the registration process as well?

Participantokay it is not really working. Every time I try to go through paypal sandbox mode or not Unless I clear my browser cache files, I get an error message in paypal. Most often the error I receive is “The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid. Please review the link and try again.”
I click on subscribe and then i choose to log in to my paypal account in order to pay, and then once I log in the next page says “The link you have used to enter the PayPal system is invalid. Please review the link and try again.”
Are familiar with this issue? What should I do? The debug file seems empty…

Participantit started working now. I saw another post about a browser cache error. I deleted my browser’s cache files and then reloaded the page and it worked like I believe it is supposed to.
if you would like to check, you can visitGCN Blog
