When I click the subscribe PayPal button, go to PayPal and pay, nothing happens. Page sits there at PayPal, doing nothing.
I understand that what’s supposed to happen is
6. Once the Payment is confirmed, the plugin will create the appropriate membership account for this user (according to the payment).
7. The member will receive an email that contains a “special” link to complete the registration.
8. When the member clicks on that special link in the email it will bring them to the registration page and let them choose a “username” and “password” for their account.
which is what we expected. But it ain’t.
Thoughts on why?
RESOLVED
Apparently, putting the tool in sandbox mode could cause this.
D’oh.
In case anyone else is working on a team and might forget: be sure the other chap hasn’t ticked the “sandbox mode” setting, or the tool does precisely nothing.
Thanks for the followup post! I am having the same issue — no followup email with link to sign up. I’ll uncheck the Sandbox testing and see if that helps.
**UPDATE** 3-222-14 @ 8:32pm : I uncheck the Sandbox testing and got the appropriate email. Thanks for the heads-up!
just to check… I was having the same issue with mine. I was testing with sandbox mode, though when in sandbox mode the email that is sent to my “fake sandbox email” does not have anything about a registration link. Should it not have one because it is in sandbox mode?
I wanted to test the system to make sure it works, but am I not able to fully test, in sandbox mode, the registration process as well?
