ParticipantHi there,
still seeing form titles that should not be on this page. any updates on this?September 30, 2015 at 6:29 pm in reply to: duplicate titles on profile page because of simple membership #3364amaunsworth
Participanti updated the plugin and i’m still having the same issue. how can i send you a screen shot of what’s going on. i see my form at the top of the page for members to update their info. but then it all repeats again below, but no fields, just titles. very strange.

Participantit works now!!! i unistalled and reinstall the plugin. started from scratch.. not sure if there was a conflict somewhere but seems to be working fine now.

Participantquestion, if a member registers, are they only supposed to show up in the Members list? because if I create a WordPress User profile for the exact same member, then everything works fine. i’m actually logged in. so looks like registrants are not actually able to log in and not being considered an actual account. i’m sure it created duplicate accounts when i first installed this program. now it’s not.

Participantwhen i’m logged in as an administrator, i can access everything and i can actually log out. but as a member, it doesn’t actually log me in. what can i do to fix this?

Participantcategories have to deal with posts. i have restricted pages, that contain downloadable pdf’s. here is a link:
http://www.runningstart.ca/rs5285/uploads/_mediavault/2015/08/Running_Start_Step_10_100-Day-Plan.pdfi’m guessing the settings on the media page doesn’t affect the actual PDF file but just the media page?

Participantjust an fyi, when i’m logged in as administrator, i see the LOG OUT link, but when i’m logged in as a member, i see the Log In link. so something doesn’t seem to add up here.

Participanti’m guessing the If Menu plugin doesn’t work with your plugin. For the pages that are restricted to members only, i have them in my menu, but don’t want them to show up unless they are logged in. but even if that plugin is disabled and i’m logged into my site as a member, i still see Log In in my footer menu. use to say Log Out. nothing in my log file.

Participantsure. i have a classic, classic plus and premium package for members. each page contains 10 pdf files.. and when i view one of them in the Media of WordPress,i see: Do you want to protect this content?
So i selected “Yes, protect this content” and checked each box to allow members to only view these pdf’s if they registered for one of my packages. but even when you are logged out, you can just copy and paste the url to open the pdf in the web browser without being logged into my site. so members can just pass my pdf’s along to anyone without paying. -
