    Yes I have the html added to the custom message area.

    My problem is I can’t see where to add CSS to style that html.

    Thanks for all the help.
    It seems the problem was with some caching settings in another wp plugin.

    I have only one level membership level but yes it is set up like that.

    Check through the document and think the site is already set up in that way

    It’s a single site installation.

    Just created a new protected page and the login join message has appeared, but it is still not hiding any of the content. The url of the page I am testing this on is https://loupemag.com/subscription-content-test/.

    Just double-checked, yes its installed and activated on the main site.
    “WP membership” is now in the side menu and the “Simple WP Membership Protection” panel is at the bottom of all the pages.
