    I already searched on your forum but it doesn’t seems to retrieve any results.
    I manually created users, but now some of the users are already expired and they want to extend their membership. So I went to settings of each user and set status from “expired” to “active” and when this extended users visit the protected content they can’ see it and their status changes back to “expired”.

    The only way this works is that I manually change status from “expired” to “active” and when they login they must delete all the cookies and sessions from the browser. Then it works.

    How can I bypass this bug ?

    Hi, do you have the following feature Enable Expired Account Login enabled under Advanced Settings? Enabling this feature allows your members to log back in and renew their membership.

    Does this help you in any way?

    I apologize for late reply.

    Yes, this feature is already enabled. And I think if the user pay the membership then it’s okay, but I do it manually from expired to active it gives me this problem.

    Hi, make sure the user in question does not have any expired settings. For example his membership level. Also do you have a cache plugin installed? If you do make sure you clear the cache.

    Let me know how you go.

    Regards

    I have cache plugin installed and enabled but this problem was before i installed the plugin. I installed the plugin because I want to clear cache on click, just because of this bug/problem.

    This is how I changed and then it causes problem:
    Account Status: Expired -> Active
    Access Starts: 2017-12-15->2018-01-15(It’s monthly subscription)
    Member Since: 2017-12-15->2018-01-15(just in case)

    And then when i visit protected page it’s giving me: “Your account has expired.” and if go back to members i can see that user status is changed back to “expired”.

    This is how I solved the problem:
    Account Status: Expired -> Active
    Access Starts: 2017-12-15->2018-01-15(It’s monthly subscription)
    Member Since: 2017-12-15->2018-01-15(just in case)
    Go to WP Super Cache and click on both “Delete Expired” & “Delete Cache” buttons.

    Hi, make sure you are using the “no expiry” settings in the membership level. When the subscription ends or is cancelled, the access will be revoked by the plugin.

    Hi, yes it should stay in the system.

    Also, make sure that you are updating the “Access Start Date” value of the member when you are manually editing a member record and changing their account status. If you don’t update the start date value then it will calculate the expiry from the old date and expiry the account again if the expiry condition has met.

    If your issue is resolved and you don’t need any more help, you can mark this post as resolved.

    Thank you

    Okay, will try that.
    Thanks for all the support and help.

    I will leave this thread open for another week and then I will close it. Just in case.

    Thanks again

    The problem still persist. I’ve deleted all the cache plugins and I changed the both dates and select “active” from the dropdown menu, but when the user logins after I’ve changed those settings, it somehow overrides those settings and make the user “expired” again. What is wierd in this case is that dates are the same as I set it up. Only status is changed from “active” to “expired”.

    Any idea ?

    Hi, I am out of ideas on how to troubleshoot your issue. You might have to create a paid support ticket to investigate further your issue.

    Sorry about this.

    Kind regards

    Turns out that you weren’t changing the “Access Starts” date of the member to current date. When you manually change an expired member’s account to active you also need to update the “Access Starts” date to the current date so the plugin doesn’t think that the account has run its course and revert it back to expired.

    There is more explanation here:
