Thank you for your owrk, i realy like the plugin. but now i have some issue.
If i check on WordPress settings (discussion) page the “Users must be registered and logged in to comment”, no one can comment on the posts. And i see the “You must be logged in to post a comment” text, with link to core (wp-admin) WordPress login page.
If I turn it off, of course, everyone can comment (with the core WordPress comment panel name/email/website).
The plugin “Members Must be Logged in to Comment” is on.
I can’t use the plugin comment form, allways see the WordPress form.
What do I do wrong?
Thank you for your answer.October 16, 2020 at 12:05 am #21173
Hi, just to confirm with you. Did you carry out this test while you were logged in as an administrator?

Thank you for your question.
I tried with multiple account, with administrator account, and with simple registerd user (subscriber), tried with Google Chrome, and with Firefox. Delete the cash with W3 cash plugin, i use the F5 key in browser, deactivated, reactivated the plugins (also simple membership)…
Nothing helped.October 16, 2020 at 12:25 pm #21330
Hi, can you carry out a test using the following steps.
Disable “Users must be registered and logged in to comment” and enable “Members Must be Logged in to Comment”.
Let me know what happens.

Infortunately it did not help. I see the Worpdress comment section on post.
It looks like the plugin-comment has disappeared from the system. Allways use the WordPress.

Hi! Before I wrote on the support forum, I did all of these. No results. 🙁
If I remember correctly, MAYBE, the error occurred after the latest SM plugin update.October 19, 2020 at 6:22 am #21353
I just finished carrying out a test in my dev site and it works for me.
All I did for this test was to enable “Members Must be Logged in to Comment”. Then I went to view a post using a different browser and scrolled down to the comment area and the following message is displayed Please login to comment. So, I can confirm this function works.
As I mentioned above something in your site is conflicting with this feature. It could be a plugin or theme.
