WordPress Membership Plugin
Simple Membership Plugin › Forums › Simple Membership Plugin › SWPM using different login cookie/method to WordPress?
I am using the SWPM plugin to hide content for members. After they log in, they see the content.
I also wanted to hide the menu containing link to the content, and used the https://de.wordpress.org/plugins/if-menu/ plugin for this purpose.
However, users are complaining that, although they are logged in and can see the “hidden” menu items, the SWPM content is suggesting otherwise and saying that they need to log in.
SWPM is basing its interpretation of a valid user session on a cookie that seems to have nothing to do with the WordPress session. I can test this by logging in and then deleting all browser cookies. The SWPM session comes to an end, although I am still logged into WordPress.
Is there a solution?
Hi, we don’t have an integration addon for the plugin you mentioned above. However we do have our own plugin/addon you might like to check.
Kind regards
