ParticipantI’ve searched through documentation and this forum but haven’t found any addon, code, or plugin mentioned that would allow us to create and send messages through the WP Dashboard to target active members.
We currently have the Mailchimp integration (which works), but it doesn’t auto-remove (or untag) subscribers when membership has expired. It seems the most efficient way to email members is something through the WP Admin that does a real-time check of Simple Membership for active members.
Is anyone aware of how to make this happen? Thanks!
(Or, if there’s a way to sync Mailchimp with expired members, that would be great to know!)

ModeratorHi, unfortunately at present we don’t have any addon that allows you to send messages via the dashboard.
However we do have the following addon. Let me know if this might work for you.

Thank you

ParticipantThanks – yes, we are currently using the Broadcast addon, though that only focuses on expiration-related emails. We’d like the ability to send regular emails to members and we’d prefer to have an always up-to-date email list; as I mentioned in the OP, expired members are not being removed from our list.
Is there another way to target only active SWPM members? Either though a third-party plugin you’re aware of, or can this be automated through Zapier between WordPress or SWPM and Mailchimp or another email provider?

KeymasterIn the Mailchimp addon there is an option to remove an email from the list if the member cancels the subscription. It definitely needs more development work in terms of that particular function though.
I want to add some more options to the “Email Broadcast” addon for this in the future.

ParticipantYes, we’ve had that box checked ever since we installed the Mailchimp addon, yet it’s never worked or removed anyone, so I’d say it needs complete development. Can anyone verify it actually works?
Additional email options through the paid addon would be great. Thanks!
