I’ve been using the WP membership plugin for quite some time now and it’s been great. Even purchased some of the add-ons. It looks like the partial protection system has changed since the last update and now requires a plugin. This is fine, I downloaded and installed the plugin and it seems to work with all of my old pages without needing to update anything else, GREAT! …except one thing.
On a blog listing page (or archive, category, index, etc), I am seeing the “this content is protected” message below every post excerpt, but this wasn’t here before. I just had a “read more” link (uses the “read more” tag). I would like to remove the “this content is protected” messages from the listing pages, but still show it on the individual single pages. How do I do this?
Hi, did you by any chance protect the blog page?
No, The blog page itself is unprotected. But the blog category is protected. It was working perfectly fine before the update.
But the blog category is protected.
Can you remove the blog category from protection? Let me know if this works.
It was working perfectly fine before the update.
What did you update?
