ParticipantRegarding this plugin:
https://simple-membership-plugin.com/simple-membership-bbpress-forum-integration-addon/First, thanks for even more great plugins and features!
I don’t think I need this plugin, but want to understand more to make sure. I have a single membership level of “Member”. Only logged-in members should be able to create forum posts. Right now, by default, it seems that my bbPress allows public viewing, but only logged-in users can post. I think this is what we want.
If instead, we want the forums to be private, it looks like I can just set a forum to “Private” in the normal bbPress admin tool. Right?
So I’d only need this SM<->bbPress plugin if I want more granular protection based on membership levels or the ability to make individual topics private, right?
I also have a question about profile integration–specifically the avatar. My SM profile has a picture of me that I uploaded into my profile. However, when I view my bbPress profile, there is not avatar. Would it be possible to integrate this as well?

ParticipantSo I have my first member asking why they don’t see their avatar in the forum (bbPress). When members add a photo to their membership profile, it is not seen by their bbPress profile. I am looking for ways to integrate this.
There are WP avatar upload plugins that claim to support bbPress as well. For example:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-user-avatar/But I assume I can’t just install this–that the Simple-Membership profile avatar is it’s own custom thing. Right?

ParticipantIf possible, I’d like followup to what @mbrsolution posted about checking with the developers.
My new site is getting ready to launch and I still have some near show-stopper issues to resolve. This is a more minor one, but I know the users will not understand why they add an avatar but it does not show up in the forum.
