ParticipantHello,
We recently migrated our website http://www.esrd.com to a new server, and when I attempt to use reCAPTCHA on the Member Registration page (https://www.esrd.com/membership-registration), I now receive the error “Security check: captcha validation failed”. Additionally, when I disable reCAPTCHA and register a new member, the MailChimp plugin no longer adds the e-mail to my MailChimp list. This was previously working on the old server, so I’m not sure what went wrong. It is the same domain, esrd.com, so I should not need new site/security/API.
I asked the server support team to take a look, and they said that they updated the PHP to 5.6.5. See their response:
-I believe the issue with the registration page is fixed, it appears that the PHP version you were running on was not supported by the custom form plugin you are using. The PHP version that you were on was 5.4.4 I’ve changed it to 5.6.5 and everything appears to be in order.
I use WPForms, and there is not an issue with reCAPTCHA or MailChimp. Do you have any ideas as to help me investigate and debug the issue with the Simple Membership plugin on our new server?
Thanks!

ModeratorHi, can you disable and delete the plugin and all the addons. Then install a fresh copy of the plugin and addons.
But make sure you have a recent backup just in case something goes wrong. The reason why I am saying this is because you recently moved to a new server. Server configuration might be different in your new server in comparison to your old server.
Kind regards

ParticipantThanks for your quick reply. I deactivated and deleted all SM plugins and addons, and then installed the latest SM plugin and then the addons. The reCAPTCHA/MailChimp still appears to fail.
Any other suggestions or ideas as to what could cause the problem?
Sincerely,
