I got SWMP to work just fine, including the reCAPTCHA plugin, recently (during August 2020). Then our hosting was moved to a new server environment last week (27th August). I don’t know what changed, but now if I have reCAPTCHA activated, the login page locks up and after the site timeout the validation has failed. Login works just fine without reCAPTCHA.So I’ll probably have to give up on it if the problem can’t be solved.
I’ve looked everywhere and cannot understand what has changed . I’m no longer sure whether the upgrade to WP 5.5 happened with the move to the new environment, but it could be, if that is relevant.
I don’t find any obvious errors in the logs either.
What could be going wrong?
Thanks for any help

Hi, have you tried to reinstall the reCAPTCHA plugin?
If the above does not help, try the following troubleshooting steps https://simple-membership-plugin.com/forums/topic/test-for-plugin-and-theme-conflict-before-posting-an-issue-or-a-bug/.
Also can you share your new server specs?

It’s working fine for me.
Chrome reported the following messages when the login was blocked:
When the reCaptcha facility was turned off, there were no errors in the Console.
Can anyone suggest anything?

Any ideas yet?October 3, 2020 at 7:21 pm #21049
I’m still wondering whether there will ever be an answer to this ppoint. I turned off the CAPTCHA check and things are working just fine. If I turn it on, then the site fails.
What should I do?October 18, 2020 at 6:28 pm #21350
Anyone out there?
