Twice with the past two updates. I found my plugin in a deactivated state. I don’t immediately apply the update because of GoDaddy issues. However, today I was using the plugin. Closed out and a few hours later it was deactivated. Any ideas what could cause this either with the plugin or wordpress? I can’t have my protected pages open for the public.
Hi, please follow the following troubleshooting steps.
Thank you
Thank you for the reference but it doesn’t tell me anything. Mainly, because the there is no way to gauge when your plugin will deactivate. I understand the conflict could be a lot of things but to deactivate other plugins and use other themes isn’t practical. The only thing I could say it involved the past two updates and both updates sat pending for about a week. Is there anyway to trigger an email when the active state changes? Thanks

Please clarify something…
When you wrote that the plugin “deactivated” itself; does that mean the Plugins screen shows the plugin as not being activated?
What was the GoDaddy issue, that you were referring to, as I have SWPM installed on a GoDaddy server.
Yes. It was simply not activated. All the associated add on plugins were activated though. This April is my third year with the plugin. As mentioned. The only thing for sure is it happened twice after a posted update.
The issue with GoDaddy is when I update plugins. The update process either times out and fails to upload requiring me to manually upload the plugin via FTP. That issue has been going on for 2 yrs. You can forget about updating themes. They break the site apart.
