My website is in PHP 7.4 and woks fine (some page are publics and others restricted by Simple Membership). I tried to update to PHP 8.1, and all the pages of the website were restricted by Simple Membership ! So I downgraded to 7.4. Any idea ?
PHP 8 was released 2020-11-26, so we would definitely have resolved any compatibility issues by now. Please run this checklist, to see if any other parts of your installation are not compatible; and remember to turn on the debug logs:
