    Hi,

I have a forum and it automatically creates pages for sub-forums. I want to restrict access to one of these sub-forums so only a certain membership level can access it and any further sup-pages. However, it’s not a page I can get to via the normal page editor. I can only access the top level forum page and this I want all membership levels to access.

I can’t change the access within the forum itself, but then this means me manually setting up each user according to the type of membership they have paid for.

Please can you advise on the best way to do this? I am using wp-foro as the forum.

    Thanks

    Sam

What forum plugin are you using?

I have tried manually creating the page so it shows in my pages list. I then tried setting the appropriate membership levels on it but this didn’t restrict the user.

I have a forum and it automatically creates pages for sub-forums. I want to restrict access to one of these sub-forums so only a certain membership level can access it and any further sup-pages.

The issue is the wp-foro forum plugin dynamically creates pages for the sub-forums. Each time one of these dynamically created pages is rendered; the page content needs to contain the appropriate code for SWPM membership level access.

Currently, the only “out of the box” forum integration supported is bbPress.

SWPM integration support for wp-foro is possible, but for now requires “custom coding.” If this is something you’d like to pursue, please complete a Paid Support request.
