Hello!
Our website was regularly running into a redirection error (too many 302 redirects) for several of our users, specially when logging in alternatingly with different users. By help of the Chrome plugin “Redirect Path” and some other internet resources, I’ve just figured out the reason for this misbehaviour: once having deactivated the SWPM advanced option “Force WP user synchronisation” the issue is immediately gone.
However, I’d like to keep that option activated in order to avoid the need for a double login, each of which is necessary for different purposes on the website.
One approach to solve the problem is to clear the browser cache/cookies on the client side. But that’s really not practical at all, specially for users unfamiliar with cookie management.
I’ve additionally tried the SWPM addon “Login Redirection”, but to no avail.
Is there any way to keep a sync been WP login and SWPM login, yet avoiding the redirection error?
Many thanks for your help and ideas.
Cheers
Marc
